DIR-12 should be filed within 30 days after the date of resignation. If the company fails to do so the given penalties will apply
- After 30 days twice the government fees will be charged
- After 60 days but within 90 days 4 times the government fees will be charged
- If it exceeds the90 days limit 10 times the government fees will be charged
- And If it exceeds 180 days limit as well 12 times the government fees will be charged and will be booked for the compounding offence as well
